A redevelopment and upgrade of the offices now forming part of the parliamentary estate. The building required a careful restoration and conservation of the external facades of the Neo-Georgian building and the refined terrazzo Art Deco internal staircases. Fielden House was originally purpose built office for the London Midland and Scottish Railway Company completed in 1937 to the designs of Albert Victor Heal.
The works included specialist cleaning, repair and repointing of the brick facades, cleaning and repair of the decorative Portland stone door case and steps to the front door and specialist repair of the wrought iron railings. Cleaning and repair of the faience to the rear facades.
Undertaken while an Associate for BDP London.
